*There have been some discussion threads about Marvel's fattest villain, and one suggested that the Slug probably smells really bad because of his enormous size. But this isn't the fat guy in the apartment downstairs here, this is essentially a mob capo who surrounds himself with food, drugs and debauchery. As such, I suggest he probably has a team of about a dozen strippers who arm themselves with sponges and mops and go "car wash" on him.  Further proof?  I give you exhibit A down there.  (Click to enlarge).

*The Slug is quite likely the Marvel Universe's answer to Jabba the Hutt.  His yacht even got blown up like Jabba's barge!  The only difference is he managed to survive the ordeal.

*The Slug is a fairly accurate personification of the negative fads of the 1980s, with clear attributes of excess, drugs, debauchery and greed.  Oh, and he wore a sweatband during his massage session in one issue.

*The Slug made Wizard's Dark Book '98 Top 10 Worst Villains List, weighing in at number 8 of the lamest 10.

*The only Marvel card series to feature the Slug was the 1992 Marvel Universe set.  Perhaps the only artwork to make the Slug look like an obese Bill Clinton.

*The Slug was satirized in issue 19 of What The..?! He appeared to confront Darkgeek, and was fried by the Ghost Writer.
